Delete Account
This action is permanent
Deleting your account permanently removes your data from Ummat. After a 30-day grace period this cannot be undone. Your username and handle will be released and may be claimed by a new user in the future.
What will be deleted
- Your profile, handle, photos, and bio
- All posts, comments, and reactions
- Direct messages and group chats you authored
- Fundraisers, donations history, and receipts (kept for tax records per legal retention)
- Group memberships, follows, and friend connections
- Saved items, prayer-buddy pairings, and travel history
- Notification preferences and connected accounts (X, Facebook, Instagram)
- Halal scanner history and personalised settings
Before continuing, you may want to download a copy of your data for your records.
30-day grace period
Your account is deactivated immediately. You have 30 days to cancel the deletion by following the link in the confirmation email we send you. After 30 days the deletion is final and irreversible.
